So I worked until quarter to ten in studio tonight, twas my first time tattooing pigskin! :D
My boss gave me the Chinese symbol for fire as it’s simple enough, he showed me how to do one line, then left me to it
VERDICT OF FIRST DAY TATTOOING PIGSKIN:
It was a helluva lot harder than I ever imagined. Trying to gage the depth needed for the needle to penetrate the skin to give a smooth clean line = seemed near impossible. But I was determined to keep at it, and keep at it, and keep at it.
To be honest, I’d probably still be in the studio now if I didn’t run out of space on the piece of skin (and also if I had more in me to keep me going all day long other than a piece of fruit and a rice cake!)
I’m actually superdy duper excited though and am really looking forward to the next piece =)
